From a wet-floor description to a work proposal you can review.
Describe what you can see safely
Give the address and affected rooms. Mention the approximate depth, when you found the water and whether its source is known. Stay clear of water where electrical or other hazards may be present.
Discuss the assessment
Confirm contractor availability, safe entry and any assessment charge. Explain locked doors, stairs, parking or approval arrangements that affect access.
Review the proposed scope
Ask how the water will be picked up, what is excluded and whether moisture checks or drying are included. Read the price and payment terms before authorizing work.
Agree the handover
Find out how the contractor will report the work, remaining moisture and any recommended follow-up. Additional tasks should be explained before they are approved.
